Report: Craigslist Projected Revenue Dips 5%
Craigslist revenue has dropped for the first time in nine years, according to a recently released report from AIM Group. The site's projected revenue of $115 million is down 5% from last year's $121 million, the group said. The classifieds site took a hit after pressure from U.S. attorneys general promted it to remove adult-service ads last year. Those ads brought in about $45 million per year for the company, the AIM Group said. The loss was offset by a 45% increase in recruitment revenue -- to $96 million -- according to the report.
