YouTube Files Suit Over Russian Content Law
The Google-owned video site on Monday filed a lawsuit in a Moscow court challenging a new Russian law that restricts content that officials deem potentially harmful to children. Russian regulators used the law to force YouTube to block a video demonstrating a special effect that creates the appearence of a slashed wrist, claiming that the video promoted suicide.
