AOL COO Eyes Exit; New Content Head Near
Arthur Minson, AOL's chief operating officer, is close to leaving the Internet company, according to a report from Bloomberg. Minson has been with the company in various roles since 2004. TechCrunch's Anthony Ha speculated that the poor performance of AOL's hyperlocal news network Patch could be the reason for his departure. Meanwhile, the company is set to hire Susan Lyne, former Gilt Groupe chairman and CEO, to head all of its content brands, except for the Huffington Post Media Group, according to All Things Digital's Kara Swisher.
