Bloggers' Huffington Post Case Struck Down

A three-judge panel in New York rejected an appeal by unpaid bloggers for The Huffington Post, saying there was "no basis" for the bloggers' contention that they were owed a cut of the $315 million AOL Inc. spent last year to buy the news site. The case had sought class-action status on behalf of 9,000 unpaid contributors to the website, which was founded in 2005.
