FTC Announces Results Of Google Probe

The Federal Trade Commission today announced the agreement with Google that ends the nearly two-year probe. As part of the settlement, Google has agreed to allow competitors reasonable access to Motorola patents based on wireless industry standards, will give online advertisers more flexibility to run ad campaigns on AdWords and rival ad platforms, and will refrain from misappropriating, or scraping, content from rival’s websites.
