Paper Print Ad Spend Expected To Fall 6.7%

Following a 4% decline in 2012, the World Advertising Research Center's Advertising Consensus Forecast sees U.S. magazine ad spending decreasing 4% in 2013 and 5.1% in 2014. That prediction looks rosy compared to WARC’s forecast for U.S. newspapers, where ad spending will fall 6.7% in 2013 and 8.4% in 2014. WARC estimates that U.S. newspaper ad revenue fell 7.2% in 2012.
