Kathy has covered the TV business since the late 1970s for a variety of publications and as owner of Kathy Haley & Associates, a company that provided custom publishing services to magazines, newspapers and other media outlets. KHA projects appeared regularly in the New York Times, Advertising Age, Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable (formerly Broadcasting).

Kathy got her start at Broadcasting, where she was a congressional correspondent and New York bureau chief. Prior to starting KHA, she served as editor of View, the NATPE Programmer and Cablevision magazines. Kathy also was editor of Extra Extra Daily, which publishes dailies at four major TV conventions each year.

Kathy graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1974 with a BA in English. She, her husband and their two children live in Wynnewood, Pa., a suburb of Philadelphia.
